Account Executive (AE)
Job Overview
We are looking for an exceptionally energetic and motivated Account Executive (AE) to help us expand our sales organisation and become part of the foundation of our UK Sales Operations. The AE team are a critical part of our business, so if you are money motivated, long term want to become a Senior AE or progress into a Mid-Market or Enterprise AE position then you have arrived at your destination.
About You
What you will bring to the team:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience selling HR, Workforce Management or B2B SaaS software
- Excellent sales discovery capability (MEDDICC or Challenger)
- Proven track record of self-sourcing & cold calling new business
- Experience handling inbound enquiries
- Experience selling to in SMB or Mid-Market Companies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High level of curiosity and coachability
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office
- Commit and deliver your sales target – month on month
- Able to use advanced sales outreach tools and personalised video – we use HubSpot CRM
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What you will be doing
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Researching prospective clients across the UK and US
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals and follow-up.
- Working through existing pipeline and progressing deals to close.
- Working inside of HubSpot to phone, email, and socially engage with Heads/VPs/Directors and C-level of HR contacts in SMB and Mid-Market organisations
- Working with our SDR team on new leads – but also hunting for 50% of them yourself
- Sitting discovery calls, running software demos, managing your pipeline, and closing deals.
- You will report into the VP of Operations and work with Marketing to plan follow-up cadences for inbound and webinar attendees
- Achieving and exceeding your bookings and ARR target – month on month

Location
- Anywhere in the UK (you will be required to travel to Leicester office once a month)
This role would ideally suit a strategic thinker with a passion for sales and client satisfaction, who is highly motivated and capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
A summary of our offer to you:
This role will either hybrid/remote depending on location and there will be company get togethers once or twice a quarter in Leicester! Your clients will be based mainly in the UK, Europe and US so interactions will be mostly online and telephone, sometimes later in the evenings.
