Account Executive (AE)

Job Overview

We are looking for an exceptionally energetic and motivated Account Executive (AE) to help us expand our sales organisation and become part of the foundation of our UK Sales Operations. The AE team are a critical part of our business, so if you are money motivated, long term want to become a Senior AE or progress into a Mid-Market or Enterprise AE position then you have arrived at your destination.

About You

What you will bring to the team:

  • Previously held a role as a top performing SDR and capable of high quality cold outreach
  • Minimum 1 year of B2B sales experience in a quota carrying capacity, ideally in SaaS
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets and forecasting accuracy
  • Experience navigating sales processes with SMB or Mid-Market Companies
  • Obsessive at outbound for building your pipeline (we use Salesloft)
  • Highly driven and effective at outbound cadences (call, email, video, social)
  • Hunger, accountable, ambition, personality, resilient, customer centric and drive in wanting to develop yourself
  • Comfortable qualifying out deals that don’t make business sense (MEDDICC)
  • Be fastidious using a Sales CRM (we use HubSpot)

What you will be doing

  • Run discovery calls with inbound and outbound leads to uncover pain, desired outcomes while discussing the StaffCircle value proposition 
  • Prepare and present platform demonstrations based on customer pain (MEDDICC)
  • Build and provide business case and proposal documents to support your champion in their buying process
  • Working inside of HubSpot to manage your pipeline and execute follow-up tasks 
  • Achieving and exceeding your revenue target – quarter on quarter
  • You will report into the Sales Director 
  • Sitting down with your manager on a weekly basis for call coaching and development

Good to have

  • Knowledge of B2B SaaS
  • MEDDPICC, SPIN or Challenger sales methodology 
  • HR Technology and marketplace 


  • Anywhere in the UK (you will be required to travel to Leicester office once a month)
