AI & Automation

Your people data, inside the AI tools your team already uses — Claude and ChatGPT.

MCPx is the “Act” step in StaffCircle Intelligence. Rather than asking your leaders to learn another interface, it brings StaffCircle into the AI tool they already have open.

This is the launch walkthrough, filmed at the HR Technology Show at ExCeL London in April 2026.

What MCPx is

MCPx is StaffCircle’s implementation of the Model Context Protocol — an open standard that lets an AI assistant connect to a system and work with its live data. In practice, it means ChatGPT or Claude can talk directly to StaffCircle.

Your contextual people data is combined with leading AI models, so the answers are grounded in your organisation rather than in general knowledge about HR.

Analytics and actions, not just answers

MCPx covers both halves of the job:

  • Analytics. Build dashboards, reports and talent maps on demand, in the AI tool you are already working in.
  • Actions. Create objectives, reviews and skills directly — for example, asking for a Q3 objective for the sales team and having it written into StaffCircle.

That second half is what separates MCPx from a chatbot bolted onto a reporting tool. Understanding becomes action in the same conversation.

Safe, compliant, and not priced per seat

Two design decisions matter more than the demo:

  • Human-in-the-loop by design. Actions are confirmed before they are written. The AI proposes; a person approves.
  • No per-user AI licensing. Access is not gated behind a seat charge for every employee who might benefit from it.

Data handling runs through StaffCircle’s multi-layered AI governance, which is the part most organisations need answered before any of this reaches production.
