How to make comments against a personal objective
In this lesson, we will look at how to use the conversation feature to make comments against a personal objective. The conversation feature allows the Reviewee (you) and the Reviewer to converse regarding the objective.
Step One
Navigate to the Objectives and Reviews area using the side-bar navigation on the left-hand side of your screen. This is usually displayed as a clip board icon. Opening this page will display all your open personal objectives.
If you are using our New Menu Feature, hover over the Objectives and Reviews section of the side-bar, then navigate to:
My Performance ➡️Objectives
Select the Objectives title and proceed with step two.
Step Two
Click on the title associated with the objective you wish you make a comment against. This will open up the pull-out drawer to the right-hand side of the screen.
Personal OKRs only: Toggle through the individual key results using the arrows to find the key result you wish to add a comment to.
Step Three
Scroll to the bottom of the pull-out drawer to the ‘Objective Conversation’ section.
If this section is not available in the pull-out drawer then the conversation has not been enabled as part of the objective set-up.
Step Four
Write your comment in the text box and click the paper aeroplane icon to submit the comment. The comment will now display below the text box in the pull-out drawer with a time/date stamp.
Step Five
Write a comment in the ‘progress updates’ field and click the paper airplane icon to submit the progress update. The progress update will contain the progress change (numerical, percentage etc.), along with the on track/off track/at risk indicator (if applicable), and the associated comment.
The reviewer of this objective will receive the associated notifications for this objective including a direct link to the comment that you have made.
You can also access the Conversation area of the objective by clicking on the speech bubble icon on the tile interface (please see below)
