How to make a comment against an employee’s Review
In this lesson, we will look at how to use the conversation feature to make comments against an employee’s personal review. The conversation feature allows the Reviewer (you) and the Reviewee (the employee) to converse regarding the review.
Note that making comments against a review using the conversation feature is different to completing feedback questions as part of a review. For guidance on completing feedback questions as part of your review, please refer to this lesson here.
Adding a Comment in the Review Conversation Area
Navigate to the Objectives and Reviews area using the side-bar navigation on the left-hand side of your screen. This is usually displayed as a clip board icon. Opening this page will display all your open personal objectives.
If you are using our New Menu Feature, hover over the Objectives and Reviews section of the side-bar, then navigate to:
Select the Reviews title and proceed with step three.
Select the MANAGE button in the top right-hand corner of your screen to access the Manager functions of the objective area.
The Review Manager page will display a list of open reviews. To find a specific review or type of review you may wish to utilise the filters bar or interactive buttons at the top of the page.
Click on the Title of the review to open the Review details page.
In the bottom right-hand corner of the Review details page, you will see the REVIEW CONVERSATION area.
Write your comment in the text box and click the paper aeroplane icon to submit the comment. The comment will now display in the review conversation area.
The Reviewee for this review will receive the associated notifications including a direct link to the comment that you have made.
Adding a Comment via the Supporting Information Panel
Navigate to the Review Manager page where you will see a list of your open reviews. Click on the title of the review to open the Review Details page.
Click on the ‘Manage’ button, as if you are about to respond to your feedback questions. Under the ‘Supporting Information’ panel to the left-hand side of the screen, click on the ‘Content’ tab.
Write your comment in the text box and click the paper aeroplane icon to submit the comment. The comment will now display below the text box in the pull-out drawer with a time/date stamp.
The Reviewer will receive the associated notifications for this review including a direct link to the comment that you have made.
