Overview: Holiday Allowance Dashboard
In this lesson, we will give you a brief overview of the Holidays and Absences module. Here you will be able to book any holidays, or log any time away from the business (sickness, bereavement etc.).
Click on the calendar icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. This will open up a calendar displaying absences within the business.
Depending on how your platform has been configured, you may be able to see everyone within the business, or this may be limited to your department.
If you are able to see everyone within your business, you can use the drop-down at the top of the page to refine the calendar to individual departments.
Clicking on the chevron next to ‘Entitlement’ will show you how your allowance has been calculated. This includes any allowance which may have been carried from the previous holiday year, or additional dates for length of service. Both are reflective of your Company’s annual leave policy.
Note that your leave may be calculated in hours, and this will be dependent on how your platform has been configured.

If you are attempting to book a holiday for the next holiday period (i.e next year), then you will need to change the ‘Select year’ drop-down to ‘Next Holiday Year’.
