What is a Reviewer?

The role of a Reviewer is referenced several times throughout the Objectives and Reviews (Performance Management) University content. In most instances, the Reviewer is the employee’s line manager, and the Reviewer is the individual who is responsible for managing or overseeing the progress of Objectives or Reviews.

If you are Reviewer, or are required to perform managerial tasks within the StaffCircle platform, you will need to refer to the ‘Reviewer’ content in the University, in addition to the ‘Employee’ materials.

Reviewers in StaffCircle may be accountable for a number of responsibilities, including:

  • Updating the progress of an Objective on behalf of an employee
  • Completing feedback questions as part of an employee review
  • Validating and marking an objective as Complete
